During the last few decades, the police and the public prosecutor's office have increasingly focused their attention on victims. To improve victim support further, the Terwee Act and directive were introduced in April 1995, implementation of which is the prime responsibility of the police and the Public Prosecutions Department (OM). Commissioned by the Ministry of Justice, the B&A Group undertook research to evaluate the implementation of victim support (the Terwee Act). This publication offers a concise account of the results of this investigation. (A)
