Samenvatting
The basic aim of the present research was to determine whether it is possible to provide empirical support for the supposition that there is widespread aggression in road traffic. The problem may be stated as follows: (a) do car drivers behave aggressively more frequently in traffic situations than in other situation? (b) to what extent does the driver's self-perceived aggression correspond with the aggression he demonstrates overtly? and (c) what additional variables co-influence behaviour in traffic situations?
