Samenvatting
In 1974 the term Social Traffic Research was used for the first time. The traffic and transport sciences deal with the analysis, the explanation and forecast of all phenomena which correlate with the movement of people, freight and information. Within this problem area the Social Traffic Research is applied particularly on (a) the different aspects of traffic and transport on the human movement behaviour and the human communication, and (b) the effects of traffic and transport on the human being and the society.
