Some comments on the traffic assignment problem.

Several non-Wardrop aspects of traffic flow trough a road network are pointed out, and the interest of developing the corresponding assignment algorithms is emphasized. Moreover useful theoretical approach for proving convergence of well know iterative assignment algorithms is also presented.
