Some epidemiologic features of motorcycle injury in a California community.

Environmental an human factors associated with motorcycle collision injury were investigated. The fact that injury involved motorcyclists reported training in motorcycle use more often than the non-involved group raises questions concerning the value of education and admonition as a realistic means of reducing the incidence and severity of these injuries.
