Samenvatting
The aim of the study is to find out: (1) the severity of the blows sustained during a boxing fight, in terms of head accelerations. (2) the corresponding head kinematics obtained with the video system. (3) the corresponding physiological effects, in medical terms, which may appear on volunteers. To the degree these results would be achieved it would thus be possible to establish a better understanding of the injury mechanism associated with direct head impact.
