Some problems in the design of improved vehicle rear lighting configurations.

Some problems concerned with criteria and evaluation of a new rear light configuration are discussed. In the present position and knowledge the attention should be directed toward a general analysis of the driving task. Possible negative effects during the change-over period should be disregarded.
