Some traffic signalization design guides. Presented at the 53rd Annual Meeting of the Highway Research Board, Washington, January 1974.

Some guides for use in the design of traffic signal installations that require multiphase signalization, are presented. Included is a discussion of some possible phasing patterns, and a set of design tables is presented for use at moderately important intersections. Examples of the use of the tables and the computer program are given.
