Something out of nothing : engaging the community in practical, low cost road safety actions.

This paper presents some practical, low cost approaches to local road safety promotion, which have emerged from the author's involvement in the preparation of road safety strategic plans for almost one third of the municipalities in Victoria in the past four years, under the Saferoads Program.
