Samenvatting
In 1956 at traffic census was begin using automatic traffic counters at 50 points on trunk and classified road to give representative sample of traffic flow over Great Britain Details of the sites are given in Road Research Technical Paper no 63. This article describes observations of vehicle speed during 1960 at the 34 rural sites both in Scotland, there was a 30 mile/speed limit where as all other rural sites were de restricted.
