Samenvatting
A main target of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works is to carry 50-100% more peak-hour passengers by public transport in the main corridors in the year 2010 than in 1986. More peak-hour services have been set up in order to carry commuters from home to their destination. The paper discusses two experiments, "Peak-hour services to Amsterdam Airport" and a peak-hour service to a major area of employment situated in the South East of Amsterdam.
