Samenvatting
A thesis is presented on railway tracing and spatial structure in the Netherlands. Emphasis is put on the quality of spatial effects. The spatial distribution of recreational and educational facilities and other public utilities like health care, administration and military installations is integrated with the traffic and transport structure, just as aspects of landscape and environment.
