In late autumn and in winter the stabilization of sand with cement is liable to be hampered by the occurrence of low air temperature. It is investigated whether the production of sand cement is possible and justified in periods when frost occurs, more particularly during the night and in the early morning, while the day temperature level keeps the average 24 hours temperature a few degrees Celsius above zero.
