Samenvatting
The present article is a chapter from Handbook 016 "Soil Mechanics in Road Construction" from the Norwegian Road Research Laboratory (NNRL), in English translation and adaption. The practice of the NRRL in stability analysis and estimates is described. And a computer progamme is presented based on professor N. Janbu's method of analysis and adapted to the "D-parameter" and to the ADP-analysis of the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute. This programme is developed in the NRRL and is available on PC-disc.
