Samenvatting
A synthesis has been tried to make between the city region theory and the theory of central place systems. Analysis of the nodal structures can give insight in social dynamics, the existing functional interdependence without a necessary hierarchy of nuclei. There can exist complementarily within functions and between functions. Further analysis is given by system character and of networks in city regions.
