Samenvatting
This study tested, evaluated and revised a police traffic crash investigation report form, instruction manual and accompanying data encoding manual which had been developed earlier under a previous National Highway Safety Bureau contract. The testing process was conducted iteratively with approximately 300 police officers participating in the entire study. Case histories, actual motor vehicle crash investigations and a simulated crash experiment were utilized.
