Samenvatting
A state of the art report is given on information theory. Great weight is given to the theory of reformulation of information in terms of the complexity of computing algorithms. In the second part a state of the art report is given on signal theory. Problems of signal theory can be divided in several interlinked areas; signal design, signal representation, signal processing, signal detection, signal estimation and signal resolution.
