Samenvatting

In this paper, statistical models were used to explain the number of killed persons by both linear and potential forms in 1987. The statistical models were divided into country-groups whose road safety were in proportion to the fatalities and to the number of vehicles per inhabitant. In developing countries the number of killed persons were proportional to the inhabitant, while in industrial countries to the number of vehicles.
