Samenvatting
In transportation planning uncertainty with respect to the consequences of the transportation plans is not taken into account explicitly. Furthermore any formal relationship between the characteristics of the transportation study and the decisions it has to underpin is lacking. Statistical decision theory (SDT) is studied because it seems capable of providing for both of the missing qualities.
