Samenvatting
Chromium- Aluminum alloys with addition of yttrium are well known for very good high temperature properties. However due to the high cost for the yttrium addition these alloys have been very expensive to produce. By addition of Ce to an alloy Sandvik Steel has succeeded to reach excellent high temperature properties in both static and cyclic oxidation testing.
