Samenvatting
The highway and the environment was the main theme on the congress of the German Research Institute for Road Construction 1980. Papers were presented from different point of view. The road must not only be constructed on behalf of the traffic. Aspects of town planning social points of view, ecological aspects play also a role in the evaluation how and where a road should be constructed.
