Samenvatting
Stan is an interactive-graphic system for national or regional strategic planning of multimode multiproduct transportation systems. Briefly described are the general concepts underlying the system, the data base structure, the assignment procedures, and the results. Data and results from an actual application are used to illustrate these concepts. This paper appears in transportation research record no. 1283, Transportation systems planning and applications 1990.
