Samenvatting
A computerised system developed by Leicester Corporations Computer Division is described, which records relevant details of, and schedules the periodic maintenance functions to be carried out on street furniture, in particular street lighting. Details are given of the need for such a system, its preparation, system control, development costs, and running costs. A summary is also given of the benefits from the system together with suggestions for its future development.
