Three articles concerning street-lighting in the U.K. are presented: 1) Motorways and trunk roads. (The three methods of lighting described are a system based on an extension of the requirements of a suspended system and a high mast lighting system); 2) Other traffic routes; 3) Minor roads and pedestrian precincts.
