Samenvatting
In 1980 a new nation-wide fare collecting system was adopted in Holland for rural and local bus transport: the "strippenkaart". Revision of fare level is argued in order to bring back the balance between bus and rail in parallel situations. When revisioning the system, it should be tried to build in the possibility to feeder with rural bus lines into rail lines without the obligation to buy a new ticket. Better service (faster trip) and lower cost could be the result.
