Samenvatting

The traffic management strategies are often generated (or pre-evaluated) through so-called Dynamic Traffic Assignment (DTA) technique, where the resulting traffic flow patterns were to be predicted. The basic element embedded in the traffic assignment technique is the principles of individual traveler's route choices. Two major principles have been widely acknowledged: User Equilibrium (UE) and System Optimum (SO), but efforts for validation of adequacy of these were rare. In this study, structural equation modeling was implemented to explore the factors affecting the route choice behavioral compliances. For the covering abstract see ITRD E134653.
