Samenvatting
The Dutch government recently introduced a proposal for a new transportation structure scheme. It in fact means the revision of the 1968 state highway plan, to which some 1.000 kms motorway have been added. On the other hand quite a few plans for building high quality arterial routes have been cancelled. The centre page map gives not only the motorway part of the Structure Scheme, but also an impression of the cancellation of plans.
