Samenvatting
The problem at hand is to reduce the number of collisions between cyclists and passenger cars at intersections in built- up areas. There are two lines of approach to this problem: analyses of accident data and behavioral studies. The aim of the both approaches is to predict and test the effects of countermeasures in reducing the number of collisions. Most collisions result from the behaviour of the cyclist and /or car driver.
