Samenvatting
This paper sets out some of the results of investigations into road accidents in Huddersfield in an effort to relate accident rates to street lighting technique. Attention is given to method and the selection of suitable studies rather than results and the paper is offered as a basis for discussion rather than a conclusive report. Certain national statistics issued by the Road Research Laboratory are of special interest.
