Samenvatting

Problems of route guidance focus on how to identify the optimal route and how to assign traffic to routes available. It is important to have an appropriate routing strategy according with current or expected Level of Market Penetration (LMP) for a better level of acceptance by user and benefit of whole system. Some modes of traffic equilibrium for route guidance are introduced in this paper. The benefit of individual user and whole system with the assignment principle proposed are also discussed and evaluated under different LMP. Based on an analysis on characteristics of urban traffic, an adaptive routing strategy is developed for DRGS on urban network.
