The various research studies on motorcycle and bicycle safety which the Road Traffic Authority of Australia has conducted are described and the countermeasures are discussed. Statistical aspects of motorcyclists safety are considered. The second part of this report describes the bicyclists accident problem in Western Australia and the countermeasures. Statistical aspects of cyclist safety are included.
