Samenvatting

A standard problem of road traffic theory is that of minor road vehicles delayed at an uncontrolled intersection by major road traffic with absolute priority. Because of mathematical difficulties the most interesting practical case of multi-lane traffic in the main road has received limited attention. This paper presents a general methodology for handling multilane models and treats two examples.
