Samenvatting
The superior colliculus of the brain are the cells of a small region in the mammation midbrain which appear to help the eye to detect and follow moving objects. They may to do the same for the stimuli of hearing and touch. It is a puzzle how the output of the colliculus can specify an eye movement independently of the initial position of the eye in its socket.
