Samenvatting
This article discusses a survey conducted to assess the standard practice of restricting direct left turns from driveways and also to examine the use of alternatives to direct left turns. Only a few states have enacted formal policies on restricting these left turns and accommodating deterred traffic. The adoption of a national standard would improve the safety and operation of driveway traffic movements.
