Samenvatting
ITS-solutions have big potentials to attribute to achieving the different goals in the transport policy. But the benefits from ITS must be demonstrated and proved. If the expected benefits aren't verified, the solution has to be examined and discussed before further use. To be able to evaluate the benefits from ITS and to spread the results in a strategic manner the Swedish National Road Administration (the SNRA) will build a common platform for examination and evaluation of ITS-solutions. The platform consists of four different steps that together form a common base for the on-going work.
