Sykkelbaner. Effektundersøkelse ved etablering av sykkelbaner på 3 3 veger i Bärum. (Cycle paths. Efficiency investigation of cycle paths introduced on three roads in Bärum, Norway.)

An efficiency investigation of cycle paths is described. Observations show that the cyclists drive in much the same way from the kerb, whereas the motor traffic drivers with a greater distance from the kerb after the cycle path was established. Results do not show that cycle paths are a satisfactory substitute for cycle tracks, but they can represent a good temporary solution.
