During the last two decades different traffic education campaigns are held in the Federal Republic of Germany. In 1970 19. 193 traffic fatalities were counted, at the end of 1989 were 7985 traffic fatalities. The number of motorvehicles increased up into 33 million. Publicity campaigns will be necessary more and more with the participation of local authorities and local traffic safety organizations.
