Samenvatting
A uniform city, that is, one that is infinite in extent and such that the distribution of the number of trips originating from or ending in a unit area of the city is the same for all parts of the city having unit area, is considered and the comparative advantages and disadvantages of the three uniform freeway systems, namely hexagonal, square and triangular are investigated.
