Samenvatting
In order to identify the socio-psychological determinants of accidents the work situation ought to be analyzed as a psycho-social system. The aim of this study is to show how this can be achieved. Two sets of variables mainly characteristics such system: its structure and its culture. Two studies are presented which try to correlate these variables with accidents, defined as risk-taking behaviour.
