Samenvatting
A model has been developed which makes possible the system-wide analysis of the consequences of increases in axle loads and/or maximum legal gross vehicle weight of heavy goods vehicles and in specific rating of their engines. Within the framework of harmonisation, new values for these quantities are likely to be specified in countries of the European Community. The model contributes to more objective decision making.
