Samenvatting
The number of accidents, in which vehicles of the Austrian Army were involved has decreased with 11, 9% after the introduction of daytime running lights for these vehicles. It is stated, however, that DRL has not been the only factor in this decrease. An intensive driver training, driving education and a good control on speed offences play also a role, but further research to DRL seems to be meaningfull.
