Samenvatting

Cyclists and moped riders are high risk traffic participants. This is particularly true for young cyclists. Road safety education aimed at this group usually does not take account of the specific factors leading to accident occurrence. A systematic approach to identifying high risk behaviour is presented, using different types of task analyses. The application of both a normative and descriptive analysis and a cognitive process analysis is presented.
