Samenvatting
A Taxi Travel Study was carried out in 1979- 1980 to assess the magnitude and pattern of travel by taxes with a view to determining its present and future loads on the road network. The methodology adopted for conducting the study of taxi trips in Bombay is described. Projection of taxi trips have been worked out. A model for trip estimation taking spatial aspects into account is also discussed.
