Samenvatting
A review is given of the different regulating measures for traffic control systems. Long, medium and short range intervals, methods for traffic data collection by detectors and data evaluation are discussed. Two technical concepts of the system are described, in which the different regulating processes can be selected according the traffic condition by a computer, and with different degrees of centralized operation.
