Technologies for road traffic safety : abstract of a cooperative study commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Research and Technology.

For investigation the present status of technology and for the identification of the future research priorities, the road traffic safety was classified to (1) accident data recording; (2) human factors; (3) active safety; (4) passive safety; (5) traffic flow; and (6) rescue services. The set-up of the research is presented.
