Samenvatting
A harmonisation of European Standards regarding temporary safety barriers at work sites will harmonise requirements on and use of safety systems. It will also harmonise the evaluation criteria's for impacts tests and make it possible to compare tests results. The paper deals with the impact test technology used at BASt and concerns how the new requirements could be implemented in Germany. The crash test at BASt uses a patented ECV technology.
