Theme I: Behaviour of the driver. "Critical incident" technique for roadway design evaluation.

The objective of this contribution is to introduce the critical incident driver behaviour assessment technique recently developed in Canada and to demonstrate its use in the evaluation of the "quality" of roadway features. The technique can be used to identify safety or capacity related problems.
