Theme III. Communicating with the driver. Euroradio traffic information by radio.

International cooperation through the European Broadcasting Union (EBU /UER) has led to: the setting up by each radio station of its own motoring unit; each motoring unit works to internationally comparable standards; international standards have been established for international cooperation; publication by the EBU of a radio atlas for Europe; cooperation with the police and European and international associations. The principles of "service radio" are outlined together with the aims of the EBU.
