Samenvatting
The author describes (1) the emergency first aid programme set up in France over the last ten years for protecting and rescuing road users, from the emergency first- aid to the hospitalization of accident victims, and (2) the emergency medical aid services created to coordinate medical operations with the help of mobile hospital units and mobile emergency and resuscitation services.
