Samenvatting

Around the world, different Traffic Conflicts Techniques (TCT) have been developed as an indirect measure of safety. In some countries individual techniques have gained considerable popularity. However, their validities are often questioned. This is partly caused by the lack of a trusted validation technique. The lack of a common basis of validity makes it difficult to compare the efficiency of different techniques.
